Just got back from photographing the Snowdonia Marathon, this is my third year as an official photographer for the event and the weather lived up to its previous reputation from sunshine to showers, thunder and lightening and one of the biggest hale storms I have ever known, certainly a test for ones resolve to get the job done. Great event and one I always look forward to.

Not all work thou, spent Friday driving around looking for photo opportunities and found a place called Fairy Glen.

Fairy Glen is a narrow gorge a couple of miles south of Betws-y-Coed, through which the River Conwy passes. Well worth a visit but please be aware very steep steps to get to the river level and very slippy on the rocks.

Sorry its been a while since I blogged but I have been busy on one or two new ideas.

Wellingborough Party in the Park

Sunday the 4th of July saw the Wellingborough Party in the Park off to a great start. It was a pleasure to be asked to capture the event.

The weather was a bit overcast but this did not spoil the crowds entertainment watching a great gig with excellent tribute bands such as Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, Take That, Robbie Williams and The Kings of Leon.

There was also really good local talent on show such as Omen Omeg street dancers,Susan Saunders. Also performing was a great all girl group The Scarlets

Wellingborough Carnival

I had the opportunity to photograph the Wellingborough carnival on the 3rd July. It was a great event and the weather was perfect.

The Wedding of Gemma and Steve

I had the opportunity to photograph the wedding of Gemma and Steve at the Kingdom Hall in Kettering and then onto the Kettering Park Hotel & Spa.

Gemma and Steve were a great couple to work with and were both keen to make the most of the great surroundings of the Kettering Park Hotel.

A really enjoyable day and I would like the opportunity to wish them both all my very best wishes for the future.

The Wedding of Chyna and Ian

Saturday the 10th April and the wedding season well on the way. Well what a great day, really busy all day with around 250 guests. Chyna and Ian a really nice couple and a real pleasure to work with.

The wedding ceremony was held and Thrapson and then onto Corby for the reception. Another day of warm sunny weather and making a perfect day for the couple.

I wish them all the success and happiness that married life brings.
